Freedom of choice in processed pork. Most of us would agree that choice is a good thing. But decisions can be agonising. And as anyone who has ever stood before 500 types of pasta sauce in a supermarket knows, too much choice can be paralysing. Especially when you attribute too much importance or time to what are actually pretty mundane and unimportant decisions. But why can making decisions be so damn difficult? The terror of choice is not choosing something else.
