Friday, May 23, 2014. Vinnie is browsing for some books to get out of the library. Di and Alpha have sorted through a huge pile of books that have been donated to us. They have identified books to be kept and to add to the library and sorted them into categories. Soon they will be processed and added to our library shelves for issuing. Thanks Di and Alpha! So I grew up with my mom making cakes for our birthdays. They were more the formal type cakes with roses and flowers, but wonderful all the same. We also spent time every year decorating christmas cookies so I have a lot of experience with the frosting decorating tips, etc. Thanks to mom for a wonderful tradition that hopefully will pass on to my kids! Wednesday, April 8, 2009. Bob the Builder is now complete as Lofty the crane was added to the picture. Lofty took a little longer than I expected, but it was a lot of blue paint applied on several different occassions when I had a few minutes to paint. That results in trying to match colors later which is always difficult when you are using several colors to come up with the final result. Monday, February 23, 2009.
