Wednesday, October 3, 2012. Matt is amazing! So the surgery was a week ago now. Above is a picture of Matt right before he went into surgery and below a picture from a few days ago. The folks at Shriners are so great with kids. He got some presents, a hospital baby, and lots of TLC from the staff. The surgical team was outstanding! But a week later, he is doing really well! My brother, Jarrett and sister-in-law, Kate are expecting their first baby. Their sweet friend Michelle hosted a Gender Reveal Party for Jarrett and Kate. The party was so cute and well thought out! I wish I could take the credit. A party is never complete without party favors, especially sugar cookies with lots of icing! .

I enjoy reading others blogs, but just cant seem to find the motivation to keep mine up-to-date. I guess I feel like others lives are more interesting and who wants to read about our boring lives anyway! Well, maybe not so boring, but compared to others, it often seems as so?
