Monday, July 13, 2015. Well the sharks were a biting this year, so we stuck to tubing and swimming in the intercostal waterway! So much fun, thanks Aunt Sitter and Unkie, we had a great time as always! Fireworks on the beach, nothing better! Bazinga catching lighting on the beach! The last month or so has been busy times for this homeschooling mama. We have entered a literacy fair which takes place tomorrow. My zany six year old has made a fantastic poster to display on the book Rabbit Hill by Robert Lawson. I will post a picture of the poster later. We have also recently gotten into geocaching. What fun! For today, I choose not to give in. There is no past that can take away my today.

The day started off beautifully. I put on a load of washing while the boys did their grammar. And then we sat down for a really good reading session. We started with Bible as always. The book contains a cd of Martin Luther King giving his speech and illustrates the most famous portion of the speech. The cd contains the whole speech and we were able to follow along with the complete text at the end of the book.
