Saturday, February 6, 2010. We went to the top of the nature trail at Madera Canyon and walked downhill. Our hiking group had hiked uphill once from the very bottom and it was nice, but going downhill helped us see even more beauty! We were surprised to have to cross over water! Was fun and lovely to listen to and enjoy. Looks like some love birds were drawing in the sand.

Wednesday, December 2, 2009. 7 Falls Hike - Bear Canyon. Todays hiking adventure was great! Headed up Bear Canyon to experience 7 Falls view. The creek beds were all dry - foreshadowing perhaps for no falls at the end? Old dried cacti - Weeping arms. Seven Falls did not have much falling as it was too dry but pools of water were below and I saw a mouse scurry to get a drink.
