The wonderful happenings of the Blackburns. Monday, June 18, 2012. Hikes in Red Rock Canyon. This last week, Sean and I went on a hike in the Red Rock Canyon. Little did we know that there is this sweet place to walk, ride your bike or take a dog to this park. We had a fun time scaling this rock. And at the top, we found a cave.

Sunday, June 5, 2011. A weekend to remember! Over Christmas break, the decision was made inspired by Marie that we would all run a half-marathon in May. After 5 months of training, tired bodies, blisters galore, many fixes of gatorade and protein drinks. we have all complete a half-marathon. Yes.13.1 miles! It feels great to be done and I may even consider doing another. As for now, the recliner feels the best it has felt in months! The GlaserDrakes and our inspiration Marie. Tuesday, February 11, 2014. It has been a very long time since I have last posted. I have so much catching up to do, but I need to write about a very special little girl and the fact that she is turning TWELVE today. I first wrote about my story here. Because of that experience, I have a deep conviction of my testimony of my Savior Jesus Christ, and my Heavenly Father. I know that their love for me is real. I could have never gotten through that experience without that knowledge.
Tuesday, June 7, 2011. The Beginning of the End. The biggest distinguishing factor was that it was my last full week in Melbourne. On Monday, I went to all my classes, which was a small victory for me considering it was the last week of the semester and all my assignments were finished except for finals. There was a lot of good review, though, so it was helpful that I showed up J.
