Wednesday, January 15, 2014. The 7th graders are reading poetry in the unit they are currently studying. They read lyrical, concrete, and haiku poetry and then chose one to write themselves. They seemed to enjoy writing poetry! 6th Grade Informative Essays. The 6th graders worked to get the basic 5 paragraph informative essay down. They worked mostly on organization of an essay and fixing all their errors in grammar, punctuation, and capitalization.
