Saturday, August 1, 2015. We went on a date. Just the two of us. Life after weddings is fabulous. This picture is much darker because I discovered the iso setting on my camera in an effort to capture the color, better. Imagine my delight in learning something new and nice. I really wonder sometimes if the camera geeks in our family realize how ignorant I am.
Wednesday, July 29, 2015. We had a perfect day yesterday and I have no pictures of it. It was just a normal day of shopping in Lincoln. But there are so many moments I wish I could freeze in my time of life with these four kids of mine. Jeanie was bopping all around eating and trying to make a mess with the salt shakers. And one of the boys packing the groceries in the back for me.
Saturday, August 8, 2015. Thyme to Visit the Peace Gardens. My family has visited the Peace Gardens a few times through the years. Here is Dad and Mom and my little sister, Maria. One highlight of each visit is the Flower Clock. The hands really move and tell correct time. This summer Krysta and I drove to Lake Metigoshe State Park for Bible Camp. Krysta mentioned that she has never been to the Peace Gardens or if she has she was too little.
