Everything I needed to know, I learned in kindergarten. We had several firsts on August 30th. Mostly what I will remember is how I was BURSTING with pride that day.
LIFE IN THE FISH POND From the pond to Ethiopia to adopt our newest Fish. And all the craziness from here to there. Thursday, January 9, 2014. Rough start Carson released from the hospital Dec 30, with no diagnosis. Upper endoscopy later that month, just a viral illness. Late 2012 started the process to adopt domestically. Showing profiles all month in January. Jan 28 - a call that we were be re-shown to a birthmom. Jan 30 - a match! A hurried trip to Utah for a baby boy.
We spent the first week of December in Mexico with friends. She did great, and we were so proud. Two Years as a Family.

Saturday, February 22, 2014. A New Year, A New Dress. We are fortunate to have an active community of adoptive families in our area that know how to throw a good party! We have been attending the annual Chinese New Year celebration since Sarah was two. This year, the kids did a lantern dance to welcome the Year of the Horse. 2014, seven years old. The lion parade is so much fun! And now, a look back.
4 boys, 2 parents, 3 pets unlimited laughter. And spread the word I did! But the truth was, it had been awhile since I drew different attention to myself and I was a little worried about it.
