Friday, April 3, 2009. From Car Wash to Cookies, Bracelets and Letters. Dreary, drizzly weather meant it was time to shut down the Free Car Wash Mission. But nothing could keep the SONshine out of the alternate missions undertaken by the Confirmation Class at Crossroads.
Wednesday, April 1, 2009. The team that went to Christ House was small but very engaged in offering this time with our family in DC as an act of love and worship. After breakfast was served by our group another group came in from another DC church and did the clean-up. We watched the men convert the small dining area into a worship space with altar and equipm.

Saturday, September 5, 2009. Hebron House BBQ and Games. Monday, March 30, 2009. Hebron House started out with a worship service at the church before heading out for fun and games with the residents of this homeless shelter, run by Good Shepherd Alliance. There was laughter and comraderie as this group set out to share the joy of the Lord with the residents of Hebron House. Hebron House Meal and Party. 4 5th Sunday Blog Home. Wednesday, April 1, 2009. Images around the room help set the tone. Letter writers pour out their good wishes and blessings. The card making was undertaken with passion and creativity. From 3 year-old sticker mania to beautiful cards of encouragement and love, it was a production! Many included family photos. One dad shared a much worn wallet photo of his daughters. A 7 year-old pasted up her photo on a rainbow then filled in every inch of her card with design and words.
