Friday, July 24, 2015. Look at my feet! I wanted to take a moment to go over a few of my recent sewing-related purchases. Since I knew I wanted to jump back into sewing again, I tried to think of things that would make my life. You know, some handy items that help you to cut corners. I came up with sewing machine feet! I have a few basic ones already, but I decided that I wanted to venture out and purchase a few more.

Adventures in Sewing a Handmade Wardrobe. So this is both a win and a fail. I made a dress for my daughter. In my defense, it was already cut out and little girls only stay a size 6 for so long. The pattern is Urban Princess by Olive Ann Designs.

On March 9, 2014. Ready to start sewing! January 4, 2014. New year has arrived and I have joined the group of no RTW for one year! That means that I must make my clothing and not purchase any new things for one year! Those of you who know me already know that I HATE shopping! My favorite stores are Trader Joes and Home Depot! I do have a stash of material from when my daughter was young and I sewed for her. I like to knit so I have a stash as well.
