Sunday, February 15, 2009. Archetypes and Judgement of the Book. Doing the archetypes for my book is difficult. This is to be expected with a book such as my own, a non-fiction. There is no one main character although. Most of the characters are portrayed as heroes. The reader is made to feel sympathetic to the plight of the soldiers, fighting a one-sided battle in a small dirty city called Mogadishu in a country not many have heard of and even fewer can find on a map.

Sunday, February 15, 2009. Anna goes from always doing what her parents want her to do, to trying to find herself. Campbell goes from once being able to love someone to having a tragic accident and then blocking everyone out of his life. Monday, February 16, 2009. My favorite part of the book is when Jermey is taking the lie detector test. This is when the truth comes out and the whole town finds out who the real killer is. My least favorite part is about half way through the book when Jermey and his family go to the funeral. And the Gingriches are calling him Judas and other bad things. He was just telling the truth. Ed starts out an innocent person, but as he helps others he gains confidence and sees that he really is a hero to all of these people. He can go out into the world and get what he wants.
