So after unwillingly donating blood at the wildlife refuge, we restored our strength at Quiznos in Moses Lake on the way home. I was pretty excited to see that they now have a buffalo chicken sub, so of course I got it. Kind of a stretch, in my opinion, to say it was a true buffalo chicken sandwich.

Sunday, August 14, 2011. Growing up, we had a blanket that was Magical! Taking a nap was always perfect. The blanket was made by my Grandma, and was made of leftover upholstery scraps. The reason it is so magical, is that the fabric is really dense and heavy, making the blanket heavy. which feels like a warm hug. Sunday, February 17, 2013. Winter Storm Nemo Hits Bucks County. Nemo slammed into Bucks County Friday night, leaving behind several inches of snow. It started over the area around 6 pm and came down into late hours of the night. When people woke up this morning, they found a winter wonderland that was the first real snowfall of the season. The Newtown and Warrington areas are reporting four to five of the white stuff, other places reporting only two to three inches. Friday, February 8, 2013.
Friday, May 09, 2014. My son Silas turns 11 months old on Monday. Two of our women have been in the hospital in the past month.
National Novel Writing Month is an international contest for writers to push themselves to write a 50k word novel in 30 days. Not too hard, just 1666 words a day. In 2012 I decided to take on the challenge. So I spent my November pounding out Draft A for The Midas Murders. After crossing the 50K on Nov 17th, I felt good about myself. I got an ending and drew the end of that first draft at just over 60K.
