Thursday, August 25, 2011. The Carter Boat Company completes its 1st order! Miracle of miracles, they do exactly what they are supposed to do when in the water! The Three kayaks took us the better part of a year and a half. They each had at least 9 coats of epoxy, and 9 coats of varnish, with drying time and sanding between coats. They weigh less than 50 pounds apiece.

Anyway, I got the diesel back to the house, filled up the tractor, and worked for what was left of the day on the driveway. The next morning Sheila continued the work. Yes, that is the snow up to the top of the tractors back wheels. We also started to dig out the front path, switching with the tractor person when they got tired of shoveling.
