As Aleisha is with child we have not been able to get up to our usual outdoor antics, but given that its been hovering around -15 C for a while the outdoors are not super appealing anyway. Monday, July 13, 2009. 11 July 2009 - Birthday weekend in the North East. Halfway down the cliff we stumbled on the remains of alum mines. The mines were abandoned decades ago. The wedding was a lovely affair up in Blackheath and luckily took place before the aforementioned vortex arrived. Without even trying I have managed to add another tick to the list though.
