CAMP WILLIAMS - Crews are working to contain a large, fast-moving fire sparked at a Camp Williams machine gun firing range Sunday. At least 1,400 homes in Herriman have been evacuated, and more evacuations are expected to take place overnight. The Unified Police Department has set up barricades enforcing evacuation orders.

Friday, October 29, 2010. I have often said that Tuolomne Meadows is what I envision heaven to be like for me. In July, my friend Kari and I took a great day hike to check out the waterfalls. The weather was perfect, the company was great, and the hike was just long enough to be a great adventure without being exhausting. And as usual, I was a pathological picture taker trying to capture my version of heaven. In fact, going through these pictures again makes me want to go back now! .

Thursday, April 16, 2009. Tyler got a butterfly habitat for Christmas, but I think I was the most fascinated watching them grow. First we got the teeny, tiny catterpillars, that you could hardly see. Only a week and a half later, they were big and fat! Shortly after that, they made their cocoons. And shortly after that, we had these bright orange butterflies! Friday, July 3, 2009. 1 lb of flank steak or skirt steak. 1 large yellow onion, sliced. 4 large bell peppers, stemmed, seeded, de. Ribbed, sliced lengthwise into half-inch wide strips. 2 cloves garlic, peeled, minced. 1 Mix all marinade ingredients. Set the steak in the marinade and let it sit at least an hour, the longer the better.
