Thursday, 15 November 2007. Here is some feedback from other students, teachers and other random people. Genre and use of conventions. Effective use of genre, everything links well. Narrative matches with lyrics and conventions. The song and footage works with the typical music video conventions, but at the same time it is very unique. Fast paced cuts and a different style of editing went down well with the audience. It made the video look roug.
Wednesday, 14 November 2007. The Beginning Shot - Still to Action. Genre and Use of Conventions. Singer is small in the middle of the screen - appropriate for the song. Leaves added to the overall effect of the video - the season fitted with the song. Wednesday, 17 October 2007.
Wednesday, 17 October 2007. Class feedback for rough cut. Fits in with genre - Video has similair upbeat feel to music, good! Fits the genre of music - Good idea for song, works really well. Good lip-synching at the beginning, narrative was good, needs more - Good lip-synching, needs more narrative - Good performance - Awesome lip-synching. Mise - En - Scene. Good variety of locations - starting location is good, fits and works well.

Forever, theres no such thing as forever. You left a mess but not a note,. You emptied my wallet and you stole my smokes.

Wednesday, 17 October 2007. 1 genre and use of conventions. People have said the video suits the music genre. Good setting for the genre. Very good video with correct location and narrative. Similar performances but works well. Neil playing lead singer is good, lipsynching good, well done neil. No background story or other scene shots. Good location, needs cut aways.

Tuesday, 13 November 2007. You succeeded in making the video nice and mysterious. The abstract shot of suit guy walking in field is almost creepy. Relationships created between music and visuals are good. Music more mellow and slightly dark matches the feel to performance shots.
