Thursday, December 18, 2008. Extremely effective use of hand drawn titles with childlike pictures. The flickering effect applied to these is also very effective. The titles are the strongest aspect of the sequence as the framing of the swing shots could have been better. In your next project try to really consider mise-en-scene and how it ctreates meaning.
Monday, December 1, 2008. Here are some possible PROPS and CLOTHING we will be using in our media thriller and will be an important part of our MISE EN SCENE in maintaing the thriller conventions. As of today we are very proud to be. We drew upon our ideas and created a storyboard that would lay the foundations for our thriller opening.
Friday, 7 November 2008. People in our class thought we had creative titles and they all agreed that we had good stills between the filming which created suspense. We also had a few mention our use of lighting and mise-on-scene. We had a mix of improvements that consisted of the soundtrack being repetitive and needing more of an edge, an unclear storyline and the acting needs to be better. Friday, 24 October 2008.
Friday, 7 November 2008. Constructive criticism from other groups. We had good use of effects, we had good camera work, good use of props for mise-en-scene. It had a CCTV effect on one scene. To improve we could slow the pace down as it was too fast. We should adjust the sound track. One group thought that the opening was too long. Friday, 24 October 2008. Friday, 17 October 2008. Friday, 3 October 2008.
Friday, 7 November 2008. Good use of props and camera angles. Better use of props and locations. Wednesday, 5 November 2008. The crime at the core of our narrative is Stalking which leads to murder. We did a close shot of the knife which is used in the murder, this becomes a clue later on. There are a lot of enigmas that need to be resolved, such as who are the two characters.

Friday, 7 November 2008. Hoody give a good sense of mystery. Lighting effecting for building mystery. Good use of edited montage near end.
Monday, 17 November 2008. 1 In what ways does our media product use, develop or challenge forms and conventions of real media products? We also did very dark and mysterious soundtrack to our thriller. I think it was quite successful with our actual footage coz it gives a loads of atmosphere to actual movie. Music is one of our strongest points , and we spent a lots of time on experimenting and trying to get right sound, and at the end we got some good feedbacks.
Friday, 7 November 2008. The acting itself looked unnatural, particularly when the girl walked away from the door after locking it - seemed very robotic. Music was fine and good choice of camera shots were used, particularly at the end. Camera work was mostly the same.
Friday, 7 November 2008. All camera shots were steady and the close up shots of the eye build up suspense. The colour editing was done very well, e. g, the pictures on the board. Close up of eye was really effective.
